With DC fast charging, you can charge the 64kWh battery from 10-80% in up to 28 minutes. The MGS5 EV uses a 400V system meaning you can easily charge to speeds of up to 139kW.

The Long Range versions of the All New MGS5 EV come equipped with a 170kW motor, powering the rear wheels to accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.3 seconds, giving it surging performance among the best in its class.

Feel connected and in control with a carefully engineered lightweight chassis and optimised weight distribution to improve responsiveness, ride and handling.
The five-link rear suspension provides superior stability over bumps, whilst absorbing nasty shocks to improve driving comfort. This, coupled with the minimal body roll helps the MGS5 EV feel responsive and stable on even the most challenging roads.

One Pedal Driving Mode is the perfect companion to urban driving. This smart feature lets you slow down by just lifting your foot. You can adjust how strong it feels across three settings, plus an automatic option, with the strongest charging the battery more.

There are several safety features including Blind Spot Detection and Rear Cross Traffic Alert, all working together to help you drive safer.
High Performance Brakes
The MGS5 EV features a high-performance stopping power through an advanced braking system developed in partnership with Continental and Bridgestone. Our Luxury model is capable of braking from 100km/h-0 in 35.5-meters.
Customisable Safety Features
The MGS5 is the first vehicle in our range to feature an MG Pilot Custom Button – a clever function that allows drivers to customise the features on MG Pilot, save their preferences and retrieve them for every time they drive.
It works like this:
- Simply toggle the safety features you wish to turn on or off.
- Long press on ‘MG Pilot Custom’ button to save the preferences.
- Then, once back in the car, hit ‘MG Pilot Custom’ button and hit “Confirm” to activate the saved preferences.
